The LO had his first haircut.
Love the curls but he was getting too fluffy on top. Curly hair looks lovely but needs to be combed slowly. What 17month old has time for patience when they have the world to conquer!
As is our custom we took a trip to our favourite hairdresser. Yes with little cars to sit in and video games for the older kids to play or watch a DVD while they get a new do. The two older boys were excited for the LO to experience the joy of the hairdresser because they have so much fun. As you can see by his picture he was just soaking it all in.
We got the lock of hair to keep and took a gazillion pictures.
He didn’t cry even though a poor little lamb was screaming bloody murder a seat or two down from him……………….for a long time. He stayed resolute………like this all the way through. (Perhaps it is the English stiff upper lip…lol)
We don’t get to go often because well we like curly hair and lots of it. But when it becomes unruly, hard to comb or just too hot. There we are!
The LO enjoyed his pretend play experience and was quite attached to his new seat.
