In time to play outdoors , you saw how we’d started some container gardening with the kids. Last year although we tried our veggie garden didn’t yield much. We did get some veg but nothing like what we planted.

This post is an update on how we’re doing so far.

Tomato plants planted in three different places this time.

It’s never to late to plan and start your garden.

It is looking great! My husband started our garden and is still in the process of doing our tomato plants. I found instructions in the family fun magazine on doing upside down tomato plants. He still has to get the buckets. So hopefully before the summer is through he will get this done!

Not sure if the upside down tomato plant should be so leggy? Any thoughts? We have lots of mini veg. I’m excited that this year we might get to eat more. Let me know how your tomatoes go.

Our garden is coming along. Some got planted very late, so it’ll be interesting to see what we end up with. We’ve got 1 cherry tomato plant with tomatoes ripening – and another just getting its start. My youngest – who is almost 2 – LOVES to dig in the dirt alongside me while I weed or check my plants. It’s been fun.

Oh – and Congratulations! YOU are the lucky winner of the Stoneyfield Farms Yobaby Gift Pack giveaway!!! Send me an email with your mailing information and we will get it shipped out to you ASAP!!!
