The Wordless Wednesday was a photograph of babies on a mat.

This was one of those classic mummy moments. We were a group of friends who had gotten pregnant one after each other by sheer coincidence. December, January, February and the March one was being nursed somewhere else for this shot. They are all our second children. This was one of those lovely Italian days when the big kids could jump in and out of the supervised pool and the mummy’s could chat and finally plonk down the little ones for some outdoor time while we could visit.

The babies had been fascinated with the edges of the blanket and the grass. We lined them up for this picture and moments after lots of clicking by over enthusiastic mums  ( me being one of them) they started the domino roll. I can’t remember which one started it but with baby’s flipping over on top of each other the smiles gave way to wails and us bailing on any more pictures.

Tummy time outside.

If we were still together the kids would be together in preschool right now instead of on three continents. Happy memories!

I also have a few mom friends who I was pregnant with at the same time. Now our kids are almost 4 years old and it is so neat to see how they have all grown up together. We have even talked about how cute it would be if someday they got married. LOL

Thanks for sharing the adorable picture.

What a wonderful story. It takes me back to the times of treasuring the same type of days when my kids where little. My babies are 29 and 25 now.
