 In time to play outdoors , you saw how we’d started some container gardening with the kids. Last year although we tried our veggie garden didn’t yield much. We did get some veg but nothing like what we planted.

This post is an update on how we’re doing so far.

Rhyme time is a weekly play activity to do with your child. It’s a chance to learn new rhymes, use our toys creatively, encourage pretend play, singing etc… For more information about how to play and find out more.

Trips make great play activities for kids. Gets them out and about outside. Plus learning in a different way.

Last week we went Strawberry picking. My 3 yr old wasn’t that interested in picking Strawberries but preferred to run the lanes and jump over the strawberries. He was amazed by the size of the other animals on the farm- the huge pig and the size of the Turkey. I guess they are very similar in size to him. I’d we weary too.

Here is my question for you Melitsa: What do you think has contributed most to your success?  For someone getting started what would you recommend they do first?

I enjoyed reading your answers and what you said I would have said too about networking and friendships. :)

What do you think has contributed most to your success?

Good question.I’m taking success to mean being online and talking about things I love. I’m always seeking to be more balanced and successful in more areas like time; finances etc but as an online presence…I’d say quite a few things keep me focused.

Yesterday you saw a photograph of my glasses and hail for Wordless Wednesday. Today on Tell me Thursday I tell you the story behind this bizarre picture.

…..yes hail!

We live in Colorado and boy have we been experiencing Tornado weather. The closest I had come to a Tornado was “Twister” the movie before. But after a Sunday stroll to our local indoor Farmer’s market we heard sirens we’d never heard before.
